Ive been pulling my nickels out of my change as of lately

.05 cents will get you $0.0933695 as thats the melt value for the 1946-2007 nickel on April 30, 2007.
If the price of metals keeps going up, the U.S. government wont be able to afford to mint coin that is worth more than face and will eventually change the composition of the coin.
as it stands right now, the nickels composition is made up of 75% copper and 25% nickel
I predict the comp will change around 2010 cause I dont see metals being cheap anymore.
