Steinberger tuners

I've read that they have 40:1 ratio and as one person said, allows fine tuning and really makes a difference in your music. I have a Carvin with Sperzel locking tuners and they're 14:1 ratio. They're supposed to be really good but it goes out of tune and hard to zero in to pitch.

I though what the hell and ordered the tuners from StewMac. I got them yesterday and installed them with a fresh set of Elixirs. These tuners are really something and does allow easy fine tuning to the pitch. They did make a difference because I had to compromise with the Sperzels but not these tuners. They're $100 but it's well worth it to me.

Sounds like a worthwhile investment for you, Kite.
A friend of mine had sperzels on his Carvin and didn't care for them, usually people rave about them. Maybe Carvin should offer the Steinbergers on their guitars, might as well have what you want while they're building it for you.
