Suggest Electric Guitar

I am planning to buy a new electric guitar, my mind is set for PRS SE Paul allenders signature, I like listening to Joe Satriani, Mark Knofler, Coldplay, will that guitar suite the play style of Joe Satriani or an Ephiphone Les Paul, please suggest and what amps should I get to go along with this guitar, I am completely new to electric guitars and I am from India, any help would be highly appreciated.

How about a Ibanez JS100 Joe Satriani.....about same price range.............Later on you can do a pup swap for some dimarzio.....should get you close to satch sound........follow that up with the ....Ibanez TSA15 Tube Screamer or the cheaper 5 watt version...should be a nice starter rig for the satch sound...............I do like the prs model over the epi as far as the korean made stuff.(THE IBEZ MODEL I SUGGESTED IS KOREAN TO.) A better choice is the Hell guitar line from a forum member here!!! The overall quality of parts including big name pickups Bare Knuckle that cost over or close to half of what the msrp of the guitar is!!! I cannot stress this enough by far for the money/price range this beats anything out there!
