I've seen that clip before. It is impressive how the volume of the amp can be turned down, yet the tone, compression and saturation stay the same. :AOK:

Marshall does make an 18 watt amp, the handwired 2061X:

Notice that they also make a 20watt amp using two EL84s as well, the 1974X.

I think marshall may have started manufacturing their 18 and 20 watt amps due to Graydon Stuckey and the 18Watt.com gang reverse engineering vintage 18 watters.
