Rather than continue to bore everyone with my comments on my Charvel Model 7 upgrade project, I started a blog called Telebotomy to track the changes. Right now it's mainly been the planning stages. Hopefully we'll get to some of the good stuff soon :)

Hey post some pics on your blog don't forget!
Yep, that's my next order of business. I've got a Picasa account now for that very purpose. Since Picasa and Blogger are both Google properties now, you can use one with the other. Pretty slick, actually.

Awesome marnold!! I love this stuff!!

Don't hesitate to get your joints good and hot when soldering, you do not want any cold joints that will not bind everything together and make a bad connection. When soldering delicate components, (caps, transistors, diodes, etc) you may want to pick up a heat sink. These are like an alligator clip but made out of aluminum. Place it near the part you want to protect from heat and solder away. The aluminum will absorb the heat and protect the delicate part.

Looking forward to see more on your project. Thanks for sharing it with us.
