Well, let's just end this. These three guitars are the best looking and best guitars ever made, period. And I got 'em! :happy The rest of youze folks might as well pack up and go home.

Ok, maybe I can't get everyone to sign off on this, but it is nice to like your own gear. :happy :AOK

That pretty much does it for me.

Man, you guys are killing me with those stunning guitars! :)

The only unique guitar I have is this, a custom handmade job.

In my opinion, either the Schecter Tempest Custom:

Or the Bernie Rico Jr Vixen:

I own a Tempest, pretty much exactly as the one above. The Vixen's on my wish list. :D

I'm not sure any normal Strat or even Les Pail would be in the running for best looking when there are so many amazing looking guitars hand made by small-scale luthiers. Just look at what this guy does

http://www.divine-jones.com/

I don't go so much for the fancy carvings, but some of his plainer models are gorgeous.

He sells through this site, which is just GAS heaven

It depends on what limits on price and availability you want to set.

Truely amazing, that guy is an artist. the 3rd guitar, the dragon one.. id sleep with it and give it my pillow and make my woman hit the couch..

Strat

The strat is probably my favorite, but the telecaster has grown from me not liking it to really liking it; and of course, the Les Paul cannot be underestimated. And my SG, I'm so undecided. I would have to say I like my American Standard strat and my Squire Deluxe and CV fifties probably the best and they are all set up differently for different sounds.

Even though I don't have one, in my opinion it's hard to beat the looks of a tobacco or honey burst LP. They are just beautiful to me.

Remembering the criteria was "best looking" AND wanting to add something a bit different, how about this J Backlund Designs JBD100?

Well I have a new winner for sure.

The new PRS Dragon.

I have never seen a fretboard even remotely close to as awesome as this

Pics of the red one here

Sure it's like $16k and they are only making 100, but I say, totally worth it just for the fretboard inlay.

I'm a huge fan of Albert King's Dan Erlewine made flying V. With the Albert King inlays on the fretboard and the Les Paul style headstock.

That's a nice looking guitar. I don't think I've ever seen a strat with a body finish like that, looks like it once belonged to a French polisher or something. (I mean that as a compliment). Excellent choice of pickguard and hardware too. I like it a lot.

Whats the story on that axe Bloozecat?

Thanks, Ch0jin.

I made it several years ago. It's a Warmoth body and neck. The body is straight grained Koa with a highly figured Koa top. The neck is maple/rosewood with a 10"-16" compound radius. The pickups are made in Oz Kinman AVN Blues, Sperzel locking tuners, Wilkinson bridge w/steel trem block. I finished the body and neck in nitrocellulose lacquer.

I chose black pearloid for the pickguard to pick up the black streaks in the wood; the gold hardware to compliment the dark amber tone of the wood.

When you start any project you always hope that the finished project will match the vision. In this case, everything fell into place beautifully.

Thanks Bloozecat. Definitely a job well done, and with Aussie made pickups too!

A little unabashed self promotion?

How annoying.
That is it would be annoying if your guitar didn't look so good... :AOK

Two guitars that always catch my eye are the bamboo (yellow) gretsch 6118 and MIJ telecasters with double white binding. G&L Legacy in antique white is a looker too.
