I’ve always liked Peter Frampton (Humble Pie & solo)...the deep cuts & B-sides, not necessarily all the radio hits.
Anybody familiar with Frampton’s gear…and what gives him that signature bell-like, bright, chimey sound? You can definitely hear the Leslie.
I know I’ll never copy it (certainly not his playing anway), but I’m curious whether he used/uses any common FX or other known gear. It’s probably all custom stuff.
