Hey all,
Just found this forum today! Excited as hell.....as the forum I use for my car is awesome and a great help. I am a neophyte player, have played for about a year, have a Mexican Strat and a Jay Turser acoustic. Happy to be aboard.....

Howdy and welcome.
Dig around in the archives. There is plenty for noobs. Just don't be surprised if the threads wander a bit. You'll still find a lot of good information.

And Warren believes that you'll like it here.:)

Hi there. I'm one of the other noobs. Been playing consistently only since May, and have been here a since Sept or Oct. Great place for learning and fellowship. Wonderful support and info here. So, welcome and have fun!

I heard of it just before I blacked out! :D Haven't had the pleasure of kissing a cod yet. I have lots of friends in the maritimes, but I'm land-locked!

Welcome to theFret. Great place. I think you'll like Warren here.
