Bring it on Kris:rockon: Good choice of color. I love it when a project gets to this stage, can't wait to see it:AOK:

And the clips, the clips, . . . . did I mention the clips. Make sure you include one with your small clone when you do. Maybe a clip of something off Nevermind. :D :AOK:

thats a great Idea SVL. so which should I do- come as you are, smells like teen spirit, or lithium? (or any others I pretty much know the whole album.)

I have pics of it being torn down before it was painted and stuff. I would post them but my grandfather used up all the bandwith and it takes me like 5 minutes to load up a page (seriously)

Each of those three, plus any you want to add on. You could do a medly! Just don't smash your strat at the end like Kurt sometimes did. :D

did you ever hear the story about how krist (bass player) threw his guitar way up in the air and it came down and hit him in the head and cracked his skull?

Yeah, I had heard that one. It is kind of amusing as grunge was a bit like that. Most of these guys were just kids from depressed sections of Washington and weren't really all that cool, whatever cool is, til grunge went big. Having one of the guys toss a guitar for effect and clonk himself in the head with it is ironic. Goes with the honesty of some of that music. Underproduced, straight ahead rock, . . . it was what it was.

Bums me out that the dark side of the scene took Kurt, and some others along the way. But a lot survived, and I still like a lot of that music. Kurt and Co put out some good rock via strat, DS-1 and small clone on Nevermind for sure.

thats probably why I like grunge so much. they don't try to be with the popular music they make what they want to. kinda like how I am, I go out of my way to be trendy and stuff.

a little update.

Got the whole body finished just gotta solder the wires from the jack.

But i had 1 big and 1 little set back:

the trem arm completely broke when I put it in. the thing is really wimpy.

other one the screw from one of the tuners broke which doesn't really make it different. now I'm going to go put the neck on.

Ooh hairy armpits, yuck!

Lookin great Kris:AOK: I love that white.

Did anyone ask about clips yet?
