Thank you SVL. Worth the time to watch. Battling traffic may be a bit different this morning.

Happy birthday, Alice.

That should be standard viewing for every member of the human race.
She is an amazingly beautiful woman in every sense of the word. Thanks SVL.

She's a true master of life and music we can all learn so much from.
Thanks for posting this, SVL!

Very touching. I'm ethnically Chinese, but my wife is Jewish. Although her family has been in the US for over a century, what happened to Jews in the Second World War is still traumatic.

The video has been removed. I was curious what it was. Do you have a back up link maybe?

Loving everyone and music being equated to God? (I've often said it's the universal language)....... hating not being an option?...... I like it.

(imagine how civil the web, our lives, and the world could be.....:pancake )

FWIW, I lived in the same home as this guy for 20 years. This past July he turned 104. You can see from the look on his face, bitterness and sadness are not part of the equation. There's definitely a lesson to be learned...

What a great video! This lady has such a beautiful mind. I know how difficult it can be to stay positive all the way through, but seeing her going through hell and staying positive, being lifted by the power of the music, I think we all can learn from her.

This is the greatest video post in a long long time!

Thank you.

Wow, what a spirit! He looks like a sweet person, full of happiness. A simple photo shows much. Our greatest treasures are the people who have been here longer than us and have so much to share.

My grandfather is now 91, seen here with his second wife after my grandmother passed. He takes only 1 prescription medicine daily. He's the kindest, most thoughtful person I've ever known. He never has a bad word to say about anyone and listens instead of taking over a conversation.
