I just picked up a new old stock Peavey TKO bass amp. It's between 12-15 yrs old!
I was going to get the Combo 115 but realized that with my herneated and degenerative discs in my back, that might not be a good idea.
It's rated at 80 Watts RMS but it sounds like 150 watts!
The cabinet is quite large and it has a Sheffield 15 inch speaker.
It is better built than the newer models as far as the cabinet goes.
The controls are the same however. It's a good workhorse amp that will work in medium sized gigs. Im going to be running it through a PA system anyway so basically, it's going to act as a monitor. I just can't believe how loud this is for 80 watts and how much bottom and low end it throws!
I can't wait to try it at a gig. :rockon:
