I was remembering songs..
Tony Joe White Polk Salad was so cool when it came along...

Question: ya think he had some effect like flanger added to his vocals
or is this just the way the copy of Video came out?

Great voice.. nice tune..
Could have been elvis...
Really country boy..
And he is still turning them out!

I saw him one time in Kansas City and he was great!
Elvis did "Poke Salad Annie", btw, but Tony Joe is the real deal, writer, picker, singer, and laid back to boot.
