I know the Unplugged thing got a bit overdone in the 90's, but some bands actually shined acoustically. However, others still played electrics and some were already mostly acoustic... Both not venturing very far.
Then there were the stand outs, like Nirvana's MTV Unplugged concert.
One of my favorites to this day is Alice In Chains. Some of their songs actually sound better in the acoustic form than electric, like "Over Now".
What are your stand out unplugged performers/performances?
