That's right it this story covered here. It states that Check 21 will now apply an additional 20% tax on guitars and guitar products as of October 28th this coming year.

Frankly, I am stunned and thankful I live in Canada. This is just unreal.
 
huh?...i just went to that page....read it several times....did a search for guitar and then a search for tax and i come up with nothing. Check 21 became effective on October 28, 2004.

Either you are joking or i am missing something here.

of course it was 5:30 in the morning when i read it (you can see where my priorities are) ...didn't even think about april fool's!

I thought the creativity of it was rather good, it was the best one I seen all day. :cool:
