Hey friends,

The holidays really made me relax a lot. I decided to record Marco Sfogli's solo from the song Alone (this solo was my current project), 'cause I felt like I could play it today. Like I said before, my new practicing schedule is bringing the results I was hoping for. For this solo I used my ESP Mirage DLX built in the custom shop and my Line6 Toneport with the Gearbox software (Jumped Marshall Model with the RAT). By the way, my solo is the cd version so it is slighlty longer because I play the end of the solo, too.

Here we go.....I hope you like it and please let me know what you think:

Here's Marco's take again:

That's sick.:bravo:

How did you find the backing track for that?

Thanks Spud!

Played the BT myself, you won't find the BT for such unknown songs I guess.

I have run into guys that have software and can remove the guitar tracks. I thought you might have the same.

That IS sick. How long did it take to master that solo?
P.S: You have a nice shock of hair going on there - kind of like Klaus Meine:)

Just having the guitar playing facility to learn how to play that solo is impressive in itself. Well done!

That's cool. You're a pro, Jimi. I thought the birds were actually you playing pinch harmonics. :D
I thought that they were the hamsters running on the wheel powering your amph...was going to suggest that you oil it....:D
