Now this is the real cheesegrater:
15 or 7 watts 2 EL84s.
Has anyone played one?

its more than the windsor 100w head, and the bugera 6260.

bigG said:tung, my brother! The very first "high-end" audiophile gear I bought was a Dynaco pre-amp and Dynaco amp! I still have 'em boxed up in my closet! Remember their Quadaptor? I still have that, too. My first rig also consisted of two Dynaco A50s (three-ways) and two Dynaco A25s (two-ways) and sold me forever on acoustic suspension (non-ported) speaker cabs! Also still have my AR-1 turntable w a Shure cartridge/stylus (can't remember the model #). All safely boxed and stored away for many years now, along w some NAD stuff and some MacIntosh stuff...
Man, what a hi-fi sound that set-up put out! Those speakers were renowned for their bass response and balanced frequency response in those days!
Good stuff, good memories! Really glad you brought up the Dynaco name!
Why not start another thread? I'd be interested in reading what you guys have to say.tunghaichuan said:BTW, this is getting off topic, but what would you recommend for a modern stereo setup, solid state? I don't need (and can't afford) Mark Levinson's gear, but am looking for some mid-fi level gear. Rotel? NAD? Feel free to take this to PM, if you don't want to clutter up this thread.
