I received a Vox VFS2 foot switch for my AD30VT. Prior to getting it I remember being told or reading somewhere that the switch was basically three settings Ch 1, Ch 2 and whatever you have the amp set at (preset).

I assumed button 1 was for Ch 1 and button 2 was for Ch 2 - However, I find that button 1 is to switch between channels and button two is to switch from effects or bypass. So that would make four setting, plus the setting on the preset for a total of five settings.

Such a little item that adds additional versatility to an already versatile amp.

On page 16 of the AD30VT manual you will find that you can also set switch 2 to turn on Manual mode. That would enable you to have three separate amp settings at the push of a switch.

Yes that's the way I have mine set.
