VoxAD30VT Speaker

Hello folks,,

I see that a lot of you are using the AD30. I was wondering if any of you have replaced the stock speaker?

Heard about G10's and Emminence and even Jensen.

Anybody know anything about Weber? Seem comparably priced to G10. Made in USA.

Also, should I be looking for ceramic or alnico magnets? I do not want to change any of the amps parameters. I think that the stock speaker is ceramic?

Steve the stock is ceramic. Alnicos are considered tops over ceramic.Of course ill take some celestion greenbacks or 65's all day long and my vintage 30 in my HRD isnt half bad.Weber makes some killer speakers highly recomended!!:beer:There are alot of series vintage,chicago blues, etc. etc both alnico and ceramic. The vintage series 10a125(alnico) and 10f125(ceramic) in the 30 watt versions would be sweet in my opinion and under a hundred.The g-10 looks to be promising and compared to the vin 30 as its lil brother.You might find this a lil harsh highs and mids but then you might like it .YA know it all depends on your pups and particular tone your chasing:beer:
