I own several Strats from various countries and it seems every tremolo bar that screws in wobbles. It's always bugged me because it isn't a problem I have with any of the locking tremolo bars.

Tonight I unscrewed the trem bar on my Squier Deluxe Strat and took a few wraps of Teflon tape around the threads at the end of the bar and then threaded it back into the bridge. PERFECT! Worked like a charm. I don't know why I never thought of this before. I guess I was always looking for some more magical fix or something.

Plumber's tape fixes it nicely. Or you can buy a packet of these. You'll need to buy he whole pack 'cos you'll lose them.

Plumber's tape = Teflon tape... same-same.

Indeed, just offering a synonym before the "what is teflon tape?" questions started ;) ;) ;)
