I am proud to announce that I have purchased a new git and a new amp today!!!! Just couldn't stand to pass up these deals:

Peavey HP Signature EXP guitar - the very same one I traded for my Peavey HP Special USA! Man, I hated to let it go, and now I have it back again for $399!!!! MSRP is $719 - streets new for $549 on MF and locally (Free gig bag, free polishing cloth, 8 free medium picks!!!) And I know how well it was taken care of, cause it was mine originally! :)

Peavey Delta Blues 2x10 combo amp - $799 MSRP, regular street $639...I got it for $499!!!! Unbelievable deal!!!! Honest to God, I don't know where I'm gonna put it! It's huge and heavy and I have NO floor space left!! Nice problem to have, though! :D

I am such a happy dude, man. When deals like this are found, you just don't pass 'em up!!!! I didn't think twice, just went quick-like to the bank and did the deal!! :) :D :bravo:

NICE!!! :AOK: :dude:  I had a Delta Blues 1x15 and loved the tone, but it was just too much power for my little back room. ENJOY!!

Thanks, guys! It shakes my nerves and rattles my brain to find gear of this quality at these prices, all in the same day!

Whew! I am WORN OUT! I'm gonna have a lie down and decompress. Then comes the task of rearranging to find space for the Delta Blues. But I'll be playin tonite, you can bet! :AOK:

Oh, and if I ever find someone I know who has a digital camera, I'd love to post pics of all my gear. In time, my friends, in time...:)

Thanks, pie! I'm sure I will!

I'm off now to rest up a bit. Spending large sums of $ always wears me out! :D

Have a great night, fellow fretters!

Congrats Big G,put them earplugs in and have at her.The way you go on about those Peavey's,I am going to have to try one.Sumi:D

The Delta Blues 210 is an awesome amp. I really like the tones I get from mine, and I really like the fact that it's fixed bias so tube swaps are pretty simple.

One minor "mod" I did was place a 12dw7/ecc83 2 in the V2 position, which made the overdrive a bit smoother and more Fenderish; not as gritty. Also, it lowered the volume a bit so it's manageable for home.

Great amps....Peavey classic series amps are real workhorses.

Welp, dvm, it should be right at home in my apartment! OY! :rotflmao:

Well folks, I did alot of rearranging and moving and discarding. My Delta Blues now has a place to sit! Man, what a hassle that was, but well worth it. I could use the exercise anyway *huffin n puffin* Man, that's so gonna hurt in the morning!

Time now to plug in and fire her up. I'll likely run 2 or 3 guitars thru her tonight, just a kinda get-familiar w the various sounds and tones. Tomorrow, if I can still move, I'll likely spend the day playin, and try a few more gits.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys! I'm really proud and really happy. Whenever I get new gear, I'm like a kid at Christmas time! :D

Plug in your Casino first. DB210 + Casino = killer rhythm tones. I had both, you're making me miss them badly. The DB was just too powerful for me too.
