Working on a song with the progression G MAJOR 3rd fret. D MINOR 6 (4TH FRET) E7 open.
The d-6 to me doesn't voice well with the way I want to sing the song. The song is Nat King Coles version of
"My Sweet Lorraine". Any suggestions? s:0)

Hey stiggowitz, provide some more details. Can you post a clip of what you have? It would be helpful to hear some examples in order to help you.

If the E7 is doing what I'm think it's doing, perhaps F7 instead of Dm6 would work? Give it a try and let me know.
