What's the deal with Crate?

What's up with them discontinuing all their good products. First they discontinue their Power block, which is a great little piece of equipment and is a very hot item on ebay and harmony central. Then I hear they discontinue the V-18 tube amp (good thing I got mine when I did) but for 200 dollars that thing is loud and sounds great.

what's the deal guys?

Maybe they are selling too much of them? Which could take away some profit on higher priced products. That's what I was thinking about Squier vs. Fender - Squiers that sell a lot often suddenly disappear (Squier '51 for example).

Crate are owned by loud technologies, and Blackheart are owned by crate

the blackheart models are replacing Crate models on Loud Tech's list.
