What do you like to use to store and share files, either online or offline? I'm not talking about archiving, but more short-term collaboration/sharing. Box.net seems to be a fave around here, but I recently found out about Dropbox, which manages to cover some ground that box.net and google docs don't.
It acts as another directory on any computer where you install it, so you don't have to download/upload like you do with box.net, but you can use a full-featured application for editing, unlike google docs. The only concern for me seems to be either public terminals and/or security issues. I haven't looked into either very closely yet.
I gave up using flash drives for important stuff after I lost one a couple of years ago, and was wondering what your preferred method is for file transfers these days.
