Just wondering if we can inspire some who still haven't shared a recording with us. I have posted some clips, although they are few and far between.

From what I can remember, we have at least these guys who have contributed with something listenable.

...but I'm sure there are more. Add to the list if you spot those I've missed!

So, basically, if you don't see your name on here, go grab the guitar and record something! :dude: There is an official name for this: Peer Pressure! :D

'Shiner and Childbride......... and others we haven't seen for awhile......hogfulloblues comes to mind.
Always glad to have new members posting......as well as those who've contributed before. It helps keep things interesting, and fun!:D

You forgot zuesse!

What about Frank Axtell, and cdtele?!?

I would love to join in on the BTs, but I have no interface for recording to computer.

well, BG got here this evening, and so the shiners are on for some serious track laying later this week...

[tonight we're just gonna have fun. :D  ;) ]

Once again, I am standing on the sidewalk, watching the fire engines roar by!

I got this tuning from Evenkeel a month or so ago and this is my second or third stab at the tune. I am including it with warts attached to show the process at work. Not that the finished version will be much better. Most of the work has been for the feel of the song, not the sanging.

Steve

Right on Aeolian ,i like your Sleepwalk ,it remind me that i saw Setzer played a nice solo version on youtube recently.
Dont worry it s not a comparaison, i found it good that s all..

Nice one too Steve206 , you are playin in drop D or open tune ..

Blazes:AOK:

I've done one.....ONE thats it; if your just counting the contribution on a backing track. If not I have shared a BUNCH of my work with my fellow fretters. But I plan to do more, but I'm in the middle of a move among other things....

I would, but I haven't got a clue how to sort out the royalties side of it, since I'd be playing covers.

i've put up two....one was "amazing grace" on my electric resonator the other was to a backing track and was really bad....hopefully that one is long gone.... :thwap:

once upon a time we were going to create a theFret.net CD with everyones original contributions....

I would love to join in on this.... or help organize this..... sounds so much fun.

What we could do is have a bunch of entries sent to the admin...ehem - robert - .... he could get together with the mods or a board of non biased people and select a number of tunes on it.... you want it you send a contribution to the fret and then you get the CD. My .02

I've wondered that also. (that's code for "can anyone answer that question?") :poke:
