If anybody has seen these Xaviere XV-580's you can probably see it would be pretty hard working on the electronics with no back plate.
You would obviously have to go through the bridge pickups route. My question is about the guitar fetish MODboards. How hard would it be to fit a MODboard in one of these? And now that I think of it, it would suck a little to change the battery for that without routing a battery compartment into the guitar. Any other ideas?

Well, that's a good suggestion. darn. I also just remembered the 9 volt battery. Even if I were to get the MODboard into the guitar I probably wouldn't be able to get the battery in there. Plus, it would blow a little to have to change the strings every time the battery wears out.

Still trying to find a guitar that I can put one of Jay's MODboards in and this seems like it would have enough room for one of them. I'm also thinking about adding in a mini humbucker or one of the Fender split humbucker pups in the neck position (GFS of course) but I don't want to buy it and find out that i don't have enough room in the guitar for my mods. Any body have one of these and has gotten a good look at the control cavity that can tell me if a Modboard and a humbucker would fit?
