I work at a music store and I tried this one out and I think it's pretty sweet. I'm looking for a decent acoustic electric on a budget and since I get a discount on Yamaha would prefer to keep it yamaha. I think they make the best stuff for cheap. Anyway, I wondered if anyone owned this guitar and what they thought about it's sound/reliability.
If everyone hates this guitar or something, let me know some suggestions for a good acoustic electric. I'd like to keep the price somewhere under 500-600 dollars since I'm an electric player mostly and just want an acoustic for around the house and the "just in case I need one" scenario.

Also looking at the APX700...probably the desert sand swirl or whatever it's called. Anyone own one of these? I know they sound good plugged in but what about unplugged? I know it's a thin guitar before anyone gets snobby, but the 900 sounds fine to me.
