Hi guys,
So, I went to tension up my strings after letting this thinbody sit idle for a while, and the bridge saddle crumpled to dust. I have found blanks and have a digital caliper to determine the correct thickness to use, but the profile is flat out gone. What is the process to recreate the sweet action that it had with the originals.

I contacted Yamaha and they no longer support this model.

I'd say that it will take some time and patience if you do it yourself. It's going to take some repeated sandings to get the saddle height down to where you want it. Alternatively, you could drop it off with a skilled luthier. Chances are they would get it right the first time and thus save you time and grief.

I wish I could just find them pre shaped. The chance of finding someone in NH that I'd trust to do that type of work is about nill.
