OK - there I was, 6 months COMPLETELY GAS FREE; no desires for gear of any kind, at last perfectly satisfied and just enjoying what I had...

And then comes the raffle... Great idea, sez I to myself, partly going to a good charity - I'll join in out of a sense of community...

So, a few days go by and I think, "Hmmm, but what if I win? I don't want anything, and I'll have to spend it on gear... A few more days went by, no urges, I can't even think of anything - so I try to think harder. Hey! IF I really have to get something, a resonator might be cool. I know I won't win, but I'll just do a little research since I don't know anything about them.

So, I DON'T win... but you can guess what the 'little bit of research' has done - not only am I now really jonesing for a resonator, I find one that is cheap enough to talk myself into getting, despite the fact that I 'knew' that I was safe and wouldn't be able (read: dare) to buy one if I didn't win. To ADD to my sins, I even led another Fretter into temptation (name is omitted in order to protect the innocent).

The need for aerial photography trumps all GAS claims save for those verified by satellite reconnaissance.
