Hey! The Fret's back! That goldtop looks awesome StingX!

Here's the newest addition to my arsenal--I've wanted one for a long time! It's a 2008 Jackson RR5. Got the hardshell case too! Amazingly, the pointy bits are in immaculate condition.

Here's the newest addition to my arsenal--I've wanted one for a long time! It's a 2008 Jackson RR5. Got the hardshell case too! Amazingly, the pointy bits are in immaculate condition.

Those look great! Which model LP is this goldtop? I'm guessing with the open-coil blacktop buckers it's a Classic?

There's a goldtop 2017 LP Tribute about 40 miles south of me being offered for $900 w/gigbag. Apparently the pickups in those Tributes are 490/490, which is what I have in my SGJ, so I'm not sure how different it might sound to what I've already got. It looks pretty nice though.

Yeah, according to what I've been able to research that price is on the low edge of what they're going for. Not a super great deal but a very fair price.

I actually have another goldtop, a Gretsch, so the GAS, for that look, anyhow, is a bit less than it otherwise might be.
