"Ghost Riders in the Sky"

I was wondering if any of you have played "Ghost Riders in the Sky"? It's the one Vaughn Monroe did, and then used in the "Ghost Rider" movie.

I have played it many times over the years. The Outlaws version was huge for our band in the mid-80s. More recently I have played it more like the original. Just did it a few weeks back at an informal jam.

I played it on bass about 30 years ago. I don't remember whose recording of it it was.

No, far too long ago for that media option. Oddly, a music mate asked me recently if I could do a demo on the riff and song. If I can manage that I can share with anyone who wants it.

Not sure what you mean there, but old guy that I am, I can’t help but associate "Ghost Riders” with she sound of Duayne Eddy’s DE 400 Guild. Ha Ha! Actually, yeah, I yoosta play it a lot as a teen ager.
