Egnater Rebel 20 watt tube head

European price!!! As usual, the prices in the european webshops are exactly the same as in the US - but in €. The Rebel is $599 at GC and €599 here. :( It sucks! I was really hoping this would be a bit cheaper.

    Next Purchase Curiosity

The Egnater Rebel is not in the stores yet but I believe it will be sold by the vendors linked to on the homepage. I think I read that it will be around $500-600 for the head and $250 for the cabinet. On this link is says "Shipping september" http://www.egnateramps.com/Start.html

    Next Purchase Curiosity

Hahaha...when I had read the previous post (and all the others) I had totally forgotten the subject of this thread... To kick it back in the direction I suppose it was supposed to go from the beginning, I'm pretty sure my next purchase will be an amp. I am almost certain it will be the Egnater...

Jeff Beck knows how to use his wammy!

Found this link on a Swedish guitar site and have to share it with you. His touch and feel just leaves me sitting in front of the screen with a big smile on my face! 3uwvBizKAwc ///Joakim

Learning the notes on the fretboard

Another site I've been using this site on and off. I think it's pretty useful once you get used to it. Personally I flip the fretboard over, but that's just a matter of taste I guess. http://www.fretzilla.net/ ///Jocke

    Andy Timmons

Ooops! Missed that one!!! Well, he's good enough to be shown again! About the leaving Ibanez...any ideas what his next brand will be? I'm guessing Fender...or Suhr perhaps.

    Andy Timmons

Saw this one posted on another forum and just have to share it with you. I really like Andy Timmons. He can shred with the best of them, but he can play other stuff as well and he has, imho, a tone that is really good as well. s0cdLoB5Ehc

Recommend me an OD with my CS fat 50s

Have you tried a clean boost? Perhaps the signal just needs to be a little bit hotter before it hits the amp to get the sound you're after.

    LMAO - David L. Roth/Vai content

When the "Eat 'em and smile" record came out I was just amazed with the guitar player. I bought it because I was really liked DLR when he was with Van Halen, but it was Vai that made med love that record. Until then I had never heard of Steve Vai - never was into Zappa much. I still believe that...

Guitar or Gear You Would Never Sell

If I could turn back time 17 years I definitely wouldn't sell my Silver jubilee halfstack and my beautiful sunburst japanese Fender stratocaster. Since I probably won't be able to turn back time I'll have to say my acoustic, a K. Yairi DY55. A beautiful wonderful sounding guitar. It would cost...

    Unemployed for the first time

Thanks for you sympathy and encouragement. Tomorrow (monday) the hard work of getting a new job starts. A problem is that the time I'm allowed to have the children at daycare is lowerd from 40 hrs to 15 hrs per week which decreases the time I have to look for jobs quite much. Since they are 2...

    Yngwie with Alcatraz

Yngwie has always been one of my absolute favourites when it comes to guitarplaying. The lines he plays are so fluid and it seems totally effortles even though it's quite advanced playing at high speeds. I have put in many hours in trying to play like him but never got even remotely close - I...

    Unemployed for the first time

I just had to tell someone. For the first time in my life I will be unemployed tomorrow. The company I've worked for the last five years had to let some people go because of economical problems - I'm one of them. As I understand it, this is not very uncommon in the USA but here in Sweden it's...

Thanks for the invitation. I'm afraid I have no visits to småland planned at the moment. Of course you too are welcome to visit me if you happen to be visiting Norrland!

    Bo Kaspers Orkester

I really like Bo Kaspers Orkester. Has a certain very relaxing mood to it. Bo Sundström, the singer, has recently made a record together with Frida Öhrn, the singer from 'Oh Laura'. I think you would like that one too. Here's a link to a swedish webshop...

    Another Swede

Well, I used to go to high school for a year in 1987-1988 in california and I got to hear a lot of different pronounciations of my name. But if you try something like this I think you get quite close: Youakim - accentutate the 'you' part, not the 'kim'.

Yes you are right about the hockey players Robert. The most known active hockey player from Timrå today is Henrik Zetterberg who is currently playing for Detroit Red Wings - doing a very nice job too if you ask me.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! :) Robert: I'm from Timrå, just north of Sundsvall. You asked what music I'm into. Well, I like almost all musik as long as it's well done. When I pick up the guitar I mostly play rock or blues but would love to be able to pull off an occational Satriani or...

    Another Swede

Hi all, I have been visiting this board from time to time for a few weeks without registering now and it looks like a fun, nice friendly place so I thought I might as well register...and I did. I saw that there's a couple of swedish members here - well, here's another one from Sweden. My...
