European price!!! As usual, the prices in the european webshops are exactly the same as in the US - but in €. The Rebel is $599 at GC and €599 here. :( It sucks! I was really hoping this would be a bit cheaper.

The Egnater Rebel is not in the stores yet but I believe it will be sold by the vendors linked to on the homepage. I think I read that it will be around $500-600 for the head and $250 for the cabinet. On this link is says "Shipping september" http://www.egnateramps.com/Start.html

Hahaha...when I had read the previous post (and all the others) I had totally forgotten the subject of this thread... To kick it back in the direction I suppose it was supposed to go from the beginning, I'm pretty sure my next purchase will be an amp. I am almost certain it will be the Egnater...

Have you tried a clean boost? Perhaps the signal just needs to be a little bit hotter before it hits the amp to get the sound you're after.
