Good one, Cav. You're nailing those string bends now.:AOK: When did you get a Lucille model? B-day present maybe?

Sweet, man. Nice tone, too! Chicago blues tough sounding!

Yes quite nice..........did you mention your setup???

Hey mrmudcat,
My setup is the Fender VG Strat and my Line 6 Pocket Pod straight into the computer. The VG Strat is on humbucker mode. Oh and the wah is a Behringer Hellbabe HB01.

Its not a flash setup, but yeah, thats the result.

Many thanks,
Cav

Hey Glenn,
Thanks man, yeah I'v been doing some practice on those bends, I was a bit off before with them.

I got the Gibson Lucille a few weeks ago when I came over to Nashville for 4 weeks (2 weeks of guitar, singing and stage presentation lessons). I needed a guitar for my lessons, and I really wanted a hollowbody or archtop style guitar. I was lucky enough that my grandma gave me a bit of a loan to purchase this beautiful guitar! I love it sooo much! The only slight problem with it is that the g string goes out a little bit when doing some string bends, but other than that its great!

Many thanks,
Cav

Thanks guys, I'm glad you all enjoy it! I recorded this awhile ago and just found it the other day and thought I should put it up here as I havn't posted clips on here for ages.

I'm really glad you guys are enjoying it.

Many thanks,
Cav

Nice track. The nut on your Lucille probably just needs a polish. I usually run some 1200 grit emery paper through the slot when my strings stick on bends. Just do it lightly a few times back and forth and follow it up with some pencil lead rubbed sideways across the slot for lubrication.

Hey Mark,
Ok, thanks man! I will definately will give that a go.

Thanks soo much for your help!

Cheers,
Cav

Yo GM..........outstanding stuff. Really nice "hard nosed" style Chicago blues. You nailed this one perfectly.

Re your Pocket Pod......just curious........which amp/cabinet sims did you have it set on? Any FX used off the Pocket Pod? Nice, judicious use of the WAH. It pops in unexpectedly.
