Wow, you gotta be kidding! I NEVER win stuff!

Yup . You did all fair and square.

There were 17 entrants and I used a random generator at random.org to choose a number randomly between and including 1 and 17. 12 is what came up and I then sent that screen shot to David and SS. I had no knowledge of who was attached to what number.

Congratulations. I guess this will make buying me that new guitar for having thefret.net on my computer screen in my studio shots a little less painful. Cool. We both get new stuff.;)

Congrats to you Roberto! Better luck to us all next time. The kids got a good donation out of it!

Congratulations to Robert - the grand prize winner. :bravo: :D

Yeah, but leg lamps are NOT guitar gear. :D

What if you put strings on 'em? :D

A big Congrats to you, Robert!

There are many others here much more eminently qualified to give suggestions on what to buy. Unless of course you want to buy something for me.... :D

:bravo:

Congratulations, Robert!:D :D
And again, a big thank you to everyone who participated, it was for a good cause (two, actually).
Now let's put our thinking caps on.........and make some suggestions to Robert about what he needs.............hhmmmmmmmmmmmm..............

Robert, I would suggest that if you're not purchasing from Sweetwater since they don't ship to Canada, you need to support you're local music shop, or at least consider it as an option. :AOK:

i would suggest buying a new pick....but i don't think he won enough to get the kind he likes.... :poke: :rotflmao:

Congrats Robert and thank all those who participated and helped out:rockon:

Congrats, Robert! Well deserved on your part for all that you do around here! Thanks, everyone for participating and for the great idea of supporting St. Jude's at the same time.

Well, Robert disappeared quickly. He is probably in his music room going through all of the holiday gear catalogs trying to figure out what he is going to buy. If it's not having GAS and not the money to relieve it, it's a case of having the money and not knowing what gear to buy. Tough position to be in Robert, just remember there are your fellow Fretters that are always here to see you through these troubling times.

Ok, I am putting out my suggestion. He does not have a humbucker guitar, likes jazz and jazzy tones in his blues, and is Swedish. Therefore:

:D
I bet you can come really close to one with what you received, I know someone who may be able to help. :AOK:

That Peavey head is cool, but you have cool amphs and are saving for a Marshall someday. This is something not within your gear collection that I would love to hear you play. So there you have it. :D

Oh man SVL I think you hit it. That is just what he needs. I would love to hear his playing on a semi-hollow body and that is a sweet one. What a great picture of it.
