Here are a couple of Korean Squier Strats I picked
up recently! I just love those old Korean Squiers.
Such great quality....such sweet necks.....such fun
....so cheap!

First up is a 1992 Vintage Cream & White with rosewood
fret board. Had planned on ebonizing this board but this
is the first really nice looking grained rosewood I've seen
in a while so I'm probably gonna leave it.

Next up is a 1995 Gold with Anaconda PG and maple board.

I know I'll be putting Fender Strat pups in
both of them. I'll probably replace both nuts. Dunno
about trems yet. The '92 with get chrome speed knobs
and NOS tuners. May just use bottle stoppers on these
instead of Marvel strap locks. Probably put CTS Volume
pots in both, and maybe Alpha Tone pots. I have a couple
of Oak Grigsby 5-ways I'll put in them. Then they should
be serviceable after a leveling and polishing of the frets.

I'll try to remember to post up some pix of them when I've
finished cleaning them up and upgrading where needed. I
love these comfortable old things. They're like a pair of old
tennis shoes.
:P

Sweet! I love those Korean guitars too and have a couple. What version is the white one? VN, CN, what? It looks great.

That's been my experience too. I have a cute CN and the fretboard is pretty flat compared to all my other Strats. I have an E and VN too that were flatter as well.
