Got it from Tone2theBone thinking I would put it in a strat at some point. It never left the original packaging it came in from him to me. I would love to keep it to mod a guitar some day, but for now, it has to go.

Zebra bobbins (cream/black). Alnico V magnets. Bold yet sweet PAF tone.

I had the pickup in my Les Paul Studio. Has a killer tone and great hot output. A bump for a friend.

I've got to have my new(used) Samick LP apart to replace pots and switches and jacks, as well us fix a few missing ferrules. So you see, this is calling out to me a little bit. I've always liked the look of Zebra 'buckers with no cover. But then if get this one, I gotta find another one for the neck position.

Or not. I mean, pickups are all about mixing and matching, right? I don't know what magnet the VHP is, but my instinct was that it's probably comparable to a Seymour Duncan JB. If that's the case, there are tons of other options for the neck, including leaving it stock.
