Haircut gone wrong

Back when I had liberty spikes in high school that were pretty ****ing long(and full of awesome) I once just wanted to get it quickly trimmed evenly. I was told no, that it would look terrible. I explained why, but got no joy. I went to another place for the cut, spiked it up, and went back to show her. I didn't make a scene, just said, "See? It worked just fine."

I have of course since enlisted and married a hair stylist so my life hair-cutting life has gotten much simpler.

As an update, here's me with the hair grown out a bit more, plastic smile and all.

I know I have a pretty strong 80s vibe going on with the over-the-face thing, but it seems to be what my hair wants to do.

I think I'll have to get a haircut pretty soon as I interview for new jobs, so this may be close to the end for this particular version of my mop.

80's indeed, I had my hair just like that in '88 or so! Looks good, I wish mine grew that thick too.

I've last shaved my head soon a month ago and now it's 1/3 inch long...I have to shave the sides much more as it grows much slower on the top. And it looks pretty thin in this length as well, IMO. I'll let it grow over the spring and till next fall when the work starts again...then I will have to make a decision to either let it grow rather freely or keep it real short, if it proves too thin.

Hey Eric, that's a terrible thing! Happened to me once or twice because the barber did not listen to me and just cut the way he always did. The best thing you can dois don't go to the barber for the next 2 years, if you really want long hair. So did I and I had pretty long hair. Anyways, the new cut looks pretty good in my eyes.

:thwap My hair grows so fast Its not even worth it to get it cut alot. I usually cut it maybe once or twice a year. Just be glad yours doesnt grow out like justin biebers
