I am Brett. 56 years old. Been playing since 12 yrs. old. I'm at the the eastern gateway to the PA Dutch Country. (Read: conservative. Mostly them, not me.) We all get along, though.

Before PA, was mostly a Florida player; 16+ years.

Creative-type: Music, writing. Even skiing and flying. It's all artistic expression, to me. That's good and bad.

Nice to be here. I shall do my utmost to be politically correct, and sensitive to others, forum-wise.

welcome :D

pftsh screw politically correct, but politeness does prevail here, which is surprising for an online forum..

enjoy :D

Hey BrettS, welcome!

And where exactly in Lancaster are you? I live in the city.

Hey Bob,

Go North on 222 to the Turnpike. Go east on I-76 to the "Morgantown" exit — it should be the next exit. (Or, get on scenic Route 23, Eastbound to Morgantown.) Funny, I will be in Millersville tomorrow evening.

Nice to be here!

Welcome, Brett! I'm 58. One of the young - old farts here!

Great place, nice people! Enjoy!:D

Welcome Brett! You got me beat but only by a few years. I'll be 51 next month.

I lived in Tampa, somewhat near the aerodrome (TIA).

Played extended gigs in Tallahassee, Ocala, Brooksville, Tarpon Spgs., St. Pete/Clearwater, all the way down to Arcadia (moo!) and Naples. Nothing on the other coast.

My "Gainesville-playing" friends (from Tampa) were a band called: "Southern Comfort," and I went to both Junior and Senior High with Hughie Thomasson, and my pals - Monte, David Dix, Herbie Pino - Outlaws, one and all.

They made it to the big time. I made hamburgers, or something. I also made it to 56.

RIP Hughie, Billy Powell, Ronnie Van Zant, Steve and Cassie Gaines, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson.
