Lesson: Fake Slide Lick

Simple "fake slide" lick... most of you probably know this already. I cheat this way often.

Nice lick......you're usual great playing and explaining.

I wouldn't call it a "fake slide lick" though. To be "fake slide", you'd have to start by sliding UP TO the 12th fret. Robbie Robertson of The Band was real big into those type licks.....because he started out, he tried to imitate what he heard on the radio or record. Funny thing was is that he didn't know they were using an actual slide.
