Don't mean to stray too far off-topic, but just wanted to answer your question....

As far as A/V equipment, nothing too fancy... I got some speakers from AV123 (Onyx Reference series) and a HSU research subwoofer, a Mitsubishi DLP 720p projector, Carada 100" screen, Emotiva Pre/Pro and Power Amp, Denon 3910 DVD player, Sony PS3, and an HTPC running XBMC. I had a friend help me finish the room with acoustic treatments. Oh and of course some Berkline theater recliners and Lutron lighting control. This is all old stuff from 2004 when I moved into this house and we finished the basement. The only thing that has been changed is the projector which used to be a Benq PE8700 but it died on me.

Cheers!

No worries on flowing off topic it happens here all the time LOL.
Nice setup many great choices that rock without going big name big dollar crazy. LOL The high end market can burn your money up faster than a day at the casino.

Thanks for answering & welcome to the site.

I'm a fan too - not only of the Michael Kelly guitars but also of those Rockfield SWC pickups. Here's mine:

Did it come with those knobs, because they look awesome!

Nice one! It looks like the 2010 catalog only has Patriots on it now... no more Hex, Vex, or Hourglass.... too bad.

Michael Kelly Vintage

I own a Michael Kelly Vintage. Couldn't ask for a finer guitar for the price. Craftsmanship on mine is flawless. I won Gibson guitars which were more than triple the price of this one. If your eyes are closed, you'd really struggle to hear the difference. Mine was set-up very well right out of the box. I elected to change strings and nothing else.

Hi mkkelly271,

I've been looking for a LP shape guitar and the Vintage seems to be a nice choice. I have a question if you do not mind, does your MK Patriot Vintage have real flame maple top wood or is it a mahogany top with flame maple veneer?
