Nice Tribute tehuti. If you love your Tribute L2K, and you ever get a chance, play one of these Leo era Mahogany L2K's. They'll blow you away! This was the pinnacle of Leo's genius, without a doubt!

Now, for some 'Hog porn, courtesy of Mr. Bacon...

Leo era L2K's had front-mounted controls, and a black, crinkle finish control plate. I have the other two mini switch covers, they're just not installed.

A fingerboard to die for! No CNC on this baby, just hand tooled Hard Rock Maple and Brazilian Rosewood. Also, this neck is attached to the body using Leo's patented, three-bolt, tilt adjustment. After Leo died, the marketing guys finally won out, and four or six bolt necks became the norm. This change came about 1997.

There's nothing like a fine hunk of Honduran Mahogany! Notice the Saddle Lock Bridge is black crinkle finish as well. The very first were actually chrome.
