Over the last week I have done some dealing on CL, and I think I made out prety well for my self...

1. Bought a BBE Free Fuzz, price - $20 (no ac adaptor though). Someone beet me to the ad, but never went thru with the purchase, so I was second and got it.

2. Sold my Fender Stratocaster (Squier series) for a Fender Princeton 65 (solid state) amp and $100. I love this Fender amp! Clean channel is great, and the drive channel is (IMHO) outta this world! Spring reverb! How can I go wrong! Now, I have listed my Ashdown for sale, and am looking for another Princeton 65 or a Frontman 65R cause these amps sound awesome.

I got into guitar at my school I bought a les paul pee wee $300 dollers then I was told i would not be able to it for school apperence reasons so I ended up buying new york pro witch is the wight guitar in the picture $125 I desited to add some character by getting the pic guard painted black and my little brother was tighting it and it broke so i bought a new neck I am no longer playing for my school and would like to get back in druming im willing to trade acoustic drum set if in good condiction if inturested in tradeing or buying call me at 330-956-4987 if no awnser leave a message for anthony also i took off my wammy bar and lost it

She's a vintage '67 American Honey Blond Deluxe. Absolutely stunning in both appearance AND playability.

I acquired her as NOS in the summer of '92. She's been my only instrument all this time. I love her dearly and hate to part with her, but I love your guitar more.

100% factory original except for the "neck pickups" which were upgraded about 20 years ago to the highly coveted D cup (aftermarket). As anyone who has experience with the D's will tell you, there is no substitute for their feel and playability.

The twin D's provide for a very sweet and firm top-end. Bottom-end on this baby is nice, full, and round. (Mid-range is a little ticklish.)

Normal wear and tear for an instrument of this vintage. Never gigged. (At least that's what I've been told).

Willing to add cash from my side to even out the trade.

This guy is selling an admittedly fake Gibson guitar. I love the "It's for the collector" part.

This guitar looks like it is in pretty good overall shape.

I believe this guitar is a “china” model, meaning it is not a 100% authentic Gibson. It looks very close and has a heavy feel but the truss rod cover has 3 bolts (like an Epiphone) and the headstock looks to be around a 14 degree angle, not the Gibson 17 degree. It looks like it’s a solid body, meaning the neck isn’t bolted on. The pickups say EMG in the bottom right corner, but I’m not a guitar expert so I didn’t want take them off for serial numbers. When plugged in, and the switch is flipped up, the top pickup does not make noise (I think it’s just a wire issue that needs fixed). I have a truss rod cover; however, it doesn’t have any screws.

This guitar is defiantly for the collector who likes to put some time and work into their instruments.

I like how he 'is not a guitar expert' but he knows the correct number of screws on the truss cover, the proper angle of the head stock, and the likely problem with the pickups.. I wonder what a 'real' expert would say. :thwap

That is a cool amp Eric.

They are selling new for 299.

The Ragin' Cajun is a great upgrade, I did it right after getting mine and it gives you a LOT more volume and great tone plus it replicates the models closely. The RC costs online 65. That is 365 as opposed to this guys price. New it comes with a five year warranty, if that is worth anything to you. Getting it worked on may or may not be simple.

Electric guitar. This is not an original Fender Stratocaster. The neck is an original,label states made in USA , the body is not. I do not have a serial number or a date from the neck. I do not have any more history on the instrument itself. The guitar sounds great and would be a good starter for an aspiring musician.

I don't think it could be a '60s Strat because they did not have truss rod access at the nut. They started with the bullet truss rod in the seventies, but those typically protrude from the hole in the head stock. Better pictures are necessary. I would ask the seller to take off the neck and take pictures of the base of the neck. There is typically a date stamp there.
 
That's definitely a 70s headstock shape, but the string trees don't look correctly placed. I could be wrong but they should be spaced further apart. Some models only came with a B&E string tree too.

Definitely do as hubberjub suggests and see if you can get a photo with the neck off.

It could be correct though. Additional photos would help decide.
 
First things first...I'd hit that.

On my CL, there's a Tech21 that's calling out to me. And my Xmas bonus gets dropped in my account in a few days.

This is the Trademark 30 guitar amp which is 50 watts. It hs a 10" speaker and has different tone controls
which can give you a sparkling clean sound or a dirty tube distortion. The amp is made in the USA and has
reverb and is in mint condition. It lists for $500.00- I'm asking $165.00. 330-285-2921.

"tipical ware"...a real genius.

I also like how the person is "asking" $2000 (firm). I'm pretty sure those don't usually go together.
 
Pics to follow tonight, but yesterday I met someone to buy a Pathfinder 15R for $75, and I ended up spending $300 but came home with a Pathfinder 15, a Pathfinder 15R and a 2008 Sunburst MIM Tele. The Tele has the 3 barrel ashtray bridge, but he gave me the original bridge too.

Don't be surprised if the '08 MIM tele doesn't have noise cancelling in the middle pickup switch position, like my '10 doesn't. I was going to put noisless pups in it but changed my mind because the ceramic stock tele pickups have great tone that would probably be sacrificed with noisless pickups.

I did, however, pick up a set of Fender Vintage Noiseless tele pups that I'm going to put in a nice Squier Standard tele that I have, and see how I like the tone. A plus will be that it will be enjoyable to have a noiseless tele for high gain amps and pedals. The stock MIM gets real noisy at high gain unless you turn down the guitar and amp controls, and that eliminates a lot of the tele tone that I enjoy.

What a great deal. I never see great deals on Craigslist around here. These guys want almost MF prices and sometimes more - doesn't make sense to buy from them.
 
If I can get my **** together, I'd love to do a demo of the 2008 MiM Tele and my 1994 MiM Tele Squier Series. Both have the stock PUPs so it would be cool to compare them.

One of the reasons I don't do demos is that I don't know WTF to play to demo something. I mean Open chords and Barre CHords would prolly get old fast, heh.
 
Partscaster. You can buy Fender logos all day long on Ebay. Honestly, depending on the hardware, $400 might be a decent price on that guitar. A lot of times you can get into a pieced together guitar with very nice components for less than you can get a used MIM Strat.

Anybody know anything about these? I'd like to get a cabinet at some point, though I think I'll be moving out of my house eventually, so maybe I should wait. Anyway, I was considering offering him my Crate V50 or some combination of stuff for this. Maybe cash. What do you think?

I also found an Epiphone SoCal 4x12 for $200. How are those?
