NW Missouri,
My wife, Dee, had shoulder surgery Mon. She will have to have the other shoulder repaired in six months if she heals as well as expected. She's always been a hard worker, and doesn't complain, but she's in a great deal of pain right now, and I'm working construction and not able to be home with her. Please keep us in mind, I'd appreciate it greatly. :)

My thoughts to Dee and you OldGuy,my woman had 11 back surgerys ,she s been suffering for 20 years now,i know what you re into..

I found a massage oil mix that gives Hélene much relief sometimes better than her 110000 pills ..PM me , if you want to give it a try..Simple & natural.

Good Luck

Blaze

OG, I am sorry to hear that your wife is in pain, but the operations on her shoulder will result in painfree times which will contribute to your allday life a lot! I can imagine that you are worried - who was not in such a situation?!?!

Everything will be good - no doubt.

My prayers will OF COURSE include you and your wife !

Wishing your wife a quick recovery. Was it a torn rotator cuff?
I think Jimi is right, once it heals it will be "right as rain".

Thanks, everyone, I really appreciate the kind thoughts. I spoke to Dee this afternoon on the phone. The doctor did the first follow up visit. He's really pleased so far. It was a torn rotator cuff, and torn badly. He told me post-op Mon. that he did all he could, and was pleased with the repair. Right now Dee has six weeks ahead using a motorized chair that moves her right arm through the complete range of motion, adding (hopefully) 2 degrees per day.
After the six weeks is up, she'll have four months of physical therapy.....bad tear. Then.............if all goes well, she has to have the left shoulder done.
Thanks again for the prayers and mojo. I'll tell her TheFret's rooting for her, she's got it made!:)

Wishing your wife a speedy recovery and relief from pain, OG :) And that the 2nd surgery, ahead, will go as planned & well. May you both have the good fortune to get thru these procedures safely and may the PT, as difficult as it may be, go smoothly and ultimately grant her, and you, good health, good times and happiness for a long time to come.
