If the above statement is indeed what you are refering to then I would hardly call it a misunderstanding. It was a witty jape and hardly cruel or mean in any sort of way. I don't even believe you needed to apologize for what you said.

Regardless, thank you for your consideration. No need to dig over this thread any longer.
