You're right - that is some nice stuff. I wasn't able to tell where he was fretting on the fast scale, I'll have to play around with it to search for the sound.

actually, just messing around with the scale I kind of like the soudn you get if you start the lick 3 frets down on F# instead of A and play it over an A dominant 7 chord...

Very cool.

I like the way he explains things, very practical, and shows you how it sounds, etc. so that you can use the ideas in practice.
