I thought I'd posted my 'Tele' guitars here, but they're posted elsewhere in detail.
Here they are, then. Two very different swamp ash bodied USA G&L ASAT takes on the Tele:

On the left is my custom-ordered (just got it in April) ASAT Classic Bluesboy Semi-Hollow. I ordered it without the f-hole. Neck pup is a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover SH55N humbucker.
On the right is my '02 ASAT Semi-Hollow. She recently got a tuxedo facelift as I replaced the original black pickguard. The pups are G&L's large Magnetic Field Design single coils, comparable to P90's.

Iago said:The cherryburst ASAT is gorgeous!
wingsdad said:It's an ASAT Classic Bluesboy Semi-Hollow, optionally without an f-hole, cherryburst over swamp ash w/ the top body edges left natural as 'binding'. Seymour Duncan Seth Lover SH-1N in the neck spot. G&L 'traditional' Magnetic Field Design single coil w/ adjustable poles in the bridge.

...and the black ASAT Semi-Hollow has now belonged to cb since mid-December.
hubberjub said:This thread inspired me today. I just bought this for a ridiculously low price on TGP. It's a 1-piece Warmoth ash body with a USA Fender neck and electronics. I will fill in the rest of the details after it's in my hand.

Even after scoring this nice-looking job you posted?hubberjub said:That's beautiful. I need a Tele.
Does that have the 7.25" radius?
:rotflmao: I'd love a Wildkat someday, I rue having passed on one a few years ago that my son-in-law could have let me 'steal' from his pawn shop like he did my '57 Fender Lap, but....uh....nice try.j strum said:Wings, the neck and pick guard fell off, will you accept salvage value and an Wildkat for it?
oldguy said:Hubba, hubba, hubberjub, that is one beautiful looking Tele!:AOK:
I'll bet it's quiet, too.![]()
hubberjub said:It's suprisingly quiet with no strings. :AOK:
