Squier body, Fender neck?

Can you put a fender neck on a squier body? Will it fit?

I cannot speak for all models, but I've got a 25.5" scale Squier JagMaster with an American Deluxe neck on it which fits perfectly. I also installed a Squier '51 neck on a MIM Strat, so I'd have to say yes from my experience.

I'm going to see if my JagMaster's original neck fits on a SX during my next string change.
