They indeed seem to be. I love mine, which I chopped up some, but it is a very very 'spanky' and lively a guitar.

Congrats! I'd love to see what it looks like when you get it too. The retailer's pictures sometimes don't tell the real story. I love my CV 50s sunburst a lot.
