My avatar is a wild spider that was in the flower bed this past summer. The one I posted is a domesticated spider. It can fetch, rollover, and if you were here it could probably play dead, well maybe not the "play" part.

I love spiders! They are very cool. Ted S, thanks for ID'ing the wood spider for me. We had one living outside our back door all fall, and was wondering what kind she was. We'd watch her remake her web every few nights - awesome to see.

BTW - even in high school, and as Who fans, my buddies and I all thought that 'Boris the Spider' had to be the worst example of a teenage attempt at songwriting ever (I left 'bassplayer' out of that in consideration of people's feelings...)

So Strum - WHY the spider?

I came across the picture while cleaning out my computer and transferring things to photobucket. I have to turn in my computer Friday, so I will probably have limited access to one until after 1/5 when I start my new job, hopefully it I'll be getting a laptop, I hate stuffing those desktops in my briefcase.

The other pic is one of my son's three tarantula's, it is a Vietnamese Bird Eating Tarantula. Here's another one just in case Warren is interested. This one is really mean and will jump at your hand if you put it in the container.
