I took my Model 7 down to Green Bay today to have the route for the neck pickup enlarged so I could use any aftermarket pickup in it. The results, along with before and after shots, are on my blog of the project which I also have shamelessly plugged in my sig.
While I was there, I also picked up an Allparts 500K pot with a push-pull pot that I'm going to install into my Fender. I haven't decided if I'm going to coil cut it or run the coils in parallel. I'm leaning toward the former because I like that tone on my '51 and it's an easier soldering job to boot (not that the parallel one is painfully hard).
