I entered, but if I win, that pick guard is gone. I never liked the pick guards that the Gibson folks use.

That's what the big hole is in the center is for. I think you need one of those European connectors.

As for spam, I have a contest email address.

I have addresses for:
contests
purchases
information requests
work
and three or four personal addresses I've used over the years, those have remained spam free.

Someone I haven't communicated with for about two years just sent me an e-mail to one of my personal emails and had me as part of 15 other addresses. I replied back it was nice to hear from him, but not to ever do that again. Probably will have to shut it down in the near future as it will fall victim to stupid chain letters (forward this to 10 people and you will find gold in your back yard).

My wife has 8 brothers and sisters and the forwards are never ending. One of my brother in laws mentioned I should get a couple of different addresses.
He says it is easy to keep track of who sells your information.
I don't know why but I have never been drawn to the Accoustic guitar.

Dont know , i guess that for another $4,000.00 we could add a real good LR Bag or the cheapest Newman mic to get some amplification..

Actually you only have to spend about another 1500.

But for free i would take the J 200...

The J-200 may be the penultimate maple-bodied jumbo. A year or so ago, I came up 10 minutes short of scoring a nice '96 from a pawn shop I have connections at. The guy who pawned it came in at the last minute to cover his loan or it could've been mine for his $500 loan amount. C'est la vie.

As much as I'd love a J-200, personally, I wouldn't want Yusuf the Cat's minions to have my email address, so I think I'll pass.
